One of the most powerful ways entrepreneurial women
like us can bring healing and expansion to the
world is through financial resources.
That is why every single time a woman invests in becoming the Master of her Mind by working with me, a portion of her investment goes directly to helping others.
For 2019, I have chosen three charities that are close to my heart and when you say YES to working together, I am going to ask you to choose which charity you would like your dollars to support. Please review the charities below and click on the links for more information.
Once you sign with me, my team will ask you to submit your charity of choice and then you officially become a Conscious Partner who has joined my efforts to pay it forward.
Note: All three of the below charities have been positively reviewed by CharityNavigator, an organization dedicated to providing subjective, data driven reviews of thousands of philanthropic agencies.
“Loans that change lives”
Kiva is an international nonprofit with a mission to connect people through microlending to alleviate poverty. They celebrate and support people looking to create a better future for themselves, their families and their communities. 100% of every dollar you lend on Kiva goes to funding loans. Kiva covers costs primarily through optional donations, as well as through support from grants and sponsors.
I typically choose a woman who is looking to further her education or business in third world countries to fund on Kiva. Because, well, duh.
“Funding cutting edge research to find cures for mental illness”
In my life, I have lost clients, family members and friends to mental illness and addiction. Ive treated hundreds of clients as a practicing psychotherapist and I believe in the power of brain based science to help us provide more powerful and effective treatment for mental illness.
The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation is committed to alleviating the suffering caused by mental illness by awarding grants that will lead to advances and breakthroughs in scientific research. 100% of your donation for research is invested directly into BBRF grants thanks to the generosity of two family foundations that underwrite the operational expenses.
“We believe strong women build strong nations.”
And I couldn’t agree more. Since 1993, Women for Women International has helped more than 462,000 marginalized women in countries affected by war and conflict. They serve women in 8 countries offering support, tools, and access to life-changing skills to move from crisis and poverty to stability and economic self-sufficiency.
They bring women together in a safe space to learn life, business, and vocational skills. Once enrolled, each receives a monthly stipend –a vital support that enables her to participate. Women increase their ability to earn an income with new skills that are in-demand. They learn about their legal rights, and they become knowledgeable about health and nutrition. The result: stronger women, stronger families, and stronger communities. This ripple effect is profound.
